Snap is a screen capture program from Ashampoo . The software can be used to create screenshots (screenshots) and video recordings of the screen.

The first version called Ashampoo Snap 3 was published in 2009 and has been continuously developed over the past few years. Version 11 (as of November 2019) is currently available. With the program, all content can be captured as a screenshot or video. A lot of information can be conveyed in just one picture or video through post-processing in the form of graphics, texts and effects. Functions such as multi-lingual text recognition, saving in the clipboard , and automatic numbering serve to accelerate the internal or external workflow. Pictures or videos can be saved, shared or stored in the cloud . Videos can be cut, merged and saved in episodes in their own editor. A quick GIF creation from any video parts is also possible. Screenshots can also be taken from games in full-screen mode.
