Ashenhurst, Williams & Company was an assembly plant for motor vehicles and thus part of the automotive industry in Ireland .
Company history
The Dublin company is first mentioned in 1913. 1919 took over the sales of trucks of Leyland Motors on. On March 14, 1935, reported that a passenger car brand Crossley was mounted, the 1937, another follows. From 1939 at the latest there was a connection to Citroën and its British assembly plant, Citroën UK. 1951, the assembly of Citroën automobiles began. The parts came from England . Car production ended in 1966. Until the liquidation in 1982, the company sold Leyland trucks. Some were also assembled.

The 1935 Crossley had an engine rated 10 RAC horsepower . The body was made by Kellagher & Burrington or Kellagher & Burrington .
Citroën created the Traction Avant Light 15 and DS models . At least one vehicle still exists.
