Ashwini Ponnappa
Ashwini Ponnappa Machimanda (born September 18, 1989 in Bangalore ) is an Indian badminton player .
Career
In 2006 Ashwini Ponnappa won her first title at the junior singles championships in India in women's doubles with Nitya Sosale. In 2010 she came second at the South Asian Games in women's doubles with PC Thulasi . At the same event she won the mixed competition together with Valiyaveetil Diju . In 2010 she won silver with the team and gold in the women's doubles at the Commonwealth Games.
