The Asian Hockey Federation ( AHF ) is one of the five continental federations of the FIH and organizes hockey competitions in Asia . It was founded in Tokyo in 1958. Founding members are India, Japan, Korea, Malaysia and Pakistan. The AHF has thirty members. Its president is Abdullah Sultan Ahmad Shah , the seat of the AHF is Kuala Lumpur , Malaysia.
The AHF organizes various hockey tournaments, especially since 1981 the continental championship of Asia, the Asia Cup . Since 2008, the championship has also been played indoors.
