The European Hockey Federation ( EHF or EuroHockey ), German European Hockey Association , is the umbrella organization for hockey in Europe founded on May 3, 1969 . The association has 43 full and two affiliated members. The EHF is one of the continental federations of the Fédération Internationale de Hockey (FIH). The EHF is based in Brussels , Belgium . The president is Marijke Fleuren , who was elected on August 22, 2011 from the Netherlands .
Members
Members are the European members of the World Hockey Federation FIH. Great Britain has a special status and only competes in the Olympic Games, otherwise the independent members England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland play, which represents the entire Irish island (Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland).
