Asko Antero Autio (born April 21, 1953 in Ylivieska ) is a former Finnish cross-country skier .

Career

At the 1980 Winter Olympics in Lake Placid , he came ninth over 50 km. At the Nordic World Ski Championships in Oslo in 1982 , he finished fifth over 50 km classic. In March 1983 he achieved third place over 15 km in the cross-country skiing world cup in Lahti and his only world cup victory over 50 km in Oslo. His best overall World Cup placement was twelfth in the 1982/83 season .
