Asko Künnap (born September 6, 1971 in Tartu ) is an Estonian designer, illustrator and contemporary writer.

After attending the art school for children in Tartu (1980–1984), he studied graphic and industrial design at the Estonian Art Academy from 1989–1995 , which was rounded off by studying interior design in Oslo .

Since 1991 he has been working as a freelance designer and illustrator, and since 1993 with his own company. His volumes of poetry are total works of art in which design and content are symbiotically correlated. For his works he received an award for best book design from 2003 to 2005, after he had already received an award in 2000 for a successful CD cover and an advertising clip. He was also honored in 2003 for his poetry debut.
