The Estonian Art Academy ( Estonian : Eesti Kunstiakadeemia ) is a state-run art academy based in the Estonian capital Tallinn .
The Estonian Art Academy ( EKA for short ) was founded in 1914 as a school for applied arts by the Estonian sculptor Jaan Koort and today consists of departments for architecture , design , art history , media studies , monument preservation and visual arts . The current rector of the Estonian Art Academy is Professor Mart Kalm .
