Arthur Blenkinsop
Arthur Blenkinsop (born June 30, 1911 in Newcastle upon Tyne , † September 23, 1979 ibid) was an English Labor politician and member of the British Parliament .
Blenkinsop sat in Parliament for Newcastle upon Tyne East from 1945 . From 1946 to 1949 he was parliamentary secretary for the Ministry of Pensions and from 1949 to 1951 for the Ministry of Health. From 1959 to 1964 was a City Councilor in Newcastle and from 1964 to 1979 he represented South Shields in Parliament.
