Asli Kilic

Asli Kilic (* 1978 in Frankfurt am Main ) is a German pianist .

Life

Kilic was transferred to the Dr. Hoch'sche Conservatory in Frankfurt . From 1991 she was a piano student of Mika Degaita and from 1997 to 2003 she studied with Paul Dan at the State University for Music and Performing Arts Mannheim .

In addition, she took part in master classes given by Jewgeni Malinin, Peter Feuchtwanger , Paul Badura-Skoda , Thérèse Dussaut and Gilead Mishory. After 2003 she studied chamber music with Paul Dan with the violinist Birgit Erz and at the Cologne University of Music with Arbo Valdma . She completed the concert exam with Ragna Schirmer at the State University for Music and Performing Arts Mannheim .

From 2003 she appeared with the South Westphalia Philharmonic , the Kurpfälzisches Kammerorchester , the State Philharmonic of Rhineland-Palatinate and the SWR Kaiserslautern Orchestra , with which she made several radio recordings.

She also works as a pianist at the Mannheim National Theater and teaches piano at the Neckarsulm Music School .

Awards

Kilic won two first federal prizes at the Jugend musiziert competition : 1995 in the "Lied accompaniment" category and 1997 in the "Duo" category with the violinist Almut Frenzel .

In 1999 she received a second prize at the international Trofeo internazionale di Genova competition in the “Piano Solo” category .
