Asra Sahibe gained her first international experience at the 2016 South Asian Games in Guwahati , where she was eliminated from the preliminary round in the 200-meter run with 25.95 seconds. The following year she reached the semifinals at the Islamic Solidarity Games in Baku over 200 meters, in which she was eliminated with 25.98 s and over 100 meters she was eliminated with 12.59 s in the first round. In 2019 she was eliminated from the Asian Championships in Doha over 100 and 200 meters with 12.04 s and 24.71 s in the first round. At the beginning of December she won the bronze medal in the 400-meter run at the South Asian Games in Kathmandu in 54.58 s behind Dilshi Kumarasinghe from Sri Lanka and the Indian Priya Habbathan and over 200 meters she finished fifth in 24.46 s. In addition, she secured the silver medal behind the team from Sri Lanka in the 4 x 400 meter relay in 3: 41.74 minutes and won the bronze medal in the 4 x 100 meter relay behind Sri Lanka and India .
In 2018, Sahibe became Pakistani champion in the 100, 200 and 400 meters as well as in the 4 x 400 meter relay.
