Assaeroporti , in the long form: Associazione Italiana Gestori Aeroporti (German: "Italian Airport Operators Association"), is an organization founded in 1967 with headquarters in Rome . It unites national airport operators and is part of the employers ' association Confindustria and a member of the international umbrella organization Airports Council International .
The association currently (2017) represents the interests of 33 Italian companies that operate a total of 42 commercial airports. The association is known for the monthly and annual publication of the traffic figures of the member airports.
