The Assemble Entertainment GmbH , based in Wiesbaden is a German developer and publisher of computer games , as well as conference organizer GermanDevDays (GDD).

history

Assemble Entertainment is a German video game publisher. It was founded in 2016 by Stefan Marcinek in Wiesbaden.

Assemble Entertainment announced the release of Pizza Connection 3 in May 2017 , which was released on March 22, 2018. The company was awarded the German Developer Prize for the marketing campaign for publication . In October 2017, Assemble founded the subsidiary Gentlymad Studios UG, based in Wiesbaden. The developers of GentlyMad UG, who previously developed the game InBetween , were fully integrated into the new company.

On December 18, 2017, Assemble Entertainment released a collection of Leisure Suit Larry titles on Steam, which included all titles from Leisure Suit Larry 1 - In the Land of the Lounge Lizards to Leisure Suit Larry 7 - Love for Sail . This also included the offshoot Leisure Suit Larry - Magna Cum Laude Uncut and Uncensored .

GDD GermanDevDays

The GDD GermanDevDays is a two-day, purely German-speaking conference on the subject of computer games, development and software, which has been held in Frankfurt every May since 2016 . It can only be visited after prior registration via the website and after receiving an invitation, which then entitles you to purchase a ticket. For industry and business visitors, the ticket costs 119 euros. Visiting with an invitation is free for students, trainees and faculty. The conference registered around 1,000 visitors on both days, making it the largest German-speaking developer conference.
