The assistant for electronics and data technology (PC assistant for short) is a full-time training at the Lette-Verein and at the OSZ IMT in Berlin . In three years, the training at the vocational school leads to the acquisition of the technical college entrance qualification and the qualification as a state-recognized assistant for electronics and data technology. The requirement is a secondary school leaving certificate.

Emergence

In connection with the emergence of new occupations in the field of information and communication technology, the training course for technical assistants for electronics and data technology was introduced in Berlin in 1997 as a school version of the dual training occupation IT system electronics technician .

education

The training takes place exclusively in the form of lessons . A 6-8 week internship takes place in the 4th semester . In addition to the vocational subjects, general subjects are also taught, since in addition to a professional qualification, the advanced technical college entrance qualification is granted. For the 2005/2006 school year, the PC assistant at the OSZ IMT was renamed to the more contemporary designation " IT assistant " - assistant for information and telecommunications systems. Since the school year 2010/2011, information technology assistants with a focus on interactive animation have been trained at the Lette-Verein .

  • use expert and diagnostic systems for troubleshooting and troubleshooting,
  • instruct users in the operation of the systems.
