astalavista.box.sk was an Internet search engine founded in 1994 with a focus on information security , which existed until February 2018. It was registered and hosted in Slovakia .

In practice, the search engine was used by the relevant scenes as a search engine for their respective purposes. For example, Astalavista served as a search engine for security gaps in the hacking area , while searching for key generators or cracked software in the cracker or warez area .

The name comes from the Spanish saying " ¡Hasta la vista, baby! " Which became popular in Terminator 2 - Day of Reckoning . »(German:“ Goodbye, sweetie ”).

Astalavista has been named one of the most popular addresses to search for warez. The PC Magazine called Astalavista as "legendary Warez Search Engine".
