The Astaldi SpA is an Italian construction company, based in Rome . With a turnover of almost three billion euros, Astaldi is the second largest building contractor in Italy after Salini Impregilo (as of 2015).

history

The company was founded in the 1920s as a family business. Since 2002 the Astaldi SpA is at the Borsa Italiana in Milan listed .

Projects

As a general contractor, the internationally active company is building, among other things, all kinds of transport infrastructures. More recent projects include the high-speed rail line from Rome to Naples and the Yavuz-Sultan-Selim Bridge near Istanbul. In the future, Astaldi is to implement major sections of the Brenner Base Tunnel .
