Astaneh-ye Ashrafiyeh (Persian / Gilankan: آستانه اشرفيه, also Romanized as Āstāneh-ye Ashrafīyeh ) is a city and capital of Astaneh-ye Ashrafiyeh, Gilan Province , Iran. At the 2006 census , 36,298 people were living in 10,558 families.

Astaneh-ye Ashrafiyeh is an important production city for peanuts, rice, silk and aromatic medicinal herbs. It is close to the city of Rasht and the Caspian Sea. Here you will find the mausoleum of Seyed Jalal od-Din Ashraf, the brother of Imam Reza , and the grave of Mohammad Moin, the Iranian lexicographer and creator of the Persian dictionary.

The great Sepidrud River crosses the city to the northwest. The main road that connects the eastern and western parts of the province goes through Astaneh.
