Astola , also Jezira Haft Talar ( Baluchi : زروان ءِ هفت تلار, Satadip or Island of the Seven Hills ), is a small, uninhabited Pakistani island in the Arabian Sea around 25 kilometers south of the Baluchi south coast and 39 kilometers southeast of the city of Pasni . Astola is the largest island in Pakistan. It is 6.7 km long, up to 2.3 km wide, and has an area of 6.7 km². It reaches a height of 75 meters.
Administratively, Astola belongs to the Tehsil Pasni of the Gwadar district of the Balochistan Province .
1982, a gas-powered gray in the west of the island was iron framework - lighthouse built. This was replaced in 1987 by a solar-powered lighthouse built nearby. At this point is also the highest point on the island at 75 meters.
In June 2017, Astola was declared Pakistan's first marine reserve.
