The UHC Astros Rotkreuz is a Swiss floorball club in Rotkreuz in the canton of Zug .

The club currently (2012) has nine teams. These are divided into different age groups. Girls can also play in the men's teams. The reverse is not possible. There are at least two coaches for each team . In addition to the Zuger Highlands , Einhorn Hünenberg and UHC Zugerland, the UHC Astros Rotkreuz is also a partner of Zug United .

successes

  • In 1989 the first team rose to the NLA .
  • In 1990 the Fanion team of the Zug Astros Rotkreuz qualified for the final round and thus secured the league.
  • In 1991 they failed in the Cup semifinals at Torpedo Chur , reached 8th place in the NLA and secured the top division.
  • In 1992, the two national players René Villiger and Cristoph Buser played for the club.

Training and games

Training takes place twice a week. The hall in Waldegg and the hall in Dorfmatt are available. The games usually take place on weekends. Unless it is a friendly game . During the summer holidays , the club takes part in the Prague Games, where players can compete against international teams.
