Asuka Fujita ( Japanese 藤田 明日香 Fujita Asuka ; born February 14, 1996 in Osaka , Japan ) is a Japanese handball player who is currently under contract with the Romanian first division club CS Minaur Baia Mare.

Career

Asuka Fujita played for the Japanese team of Sony Semiconductor Manufacturing until 2018. Then the outside player moved to the German Bundesliga club Borussia Dortmund . In 2020 Fujita joined the Romanian club CS Minaur Baia Mare.

Fujita initially played for the Japanese youth and junior national team. She is now a member of the Japanese national team . With Japan she took part in the 2017 World Cup in Germany.
