Atanas Kurdow ( Bulgarian Атанас Курдов ; born September 28, 1988 in Plovdiv ) is a Bulgarian football player .

Career

Kurdov began his career with Levski Sofia . In 2007 he moved to Bayer 04 Leverkusen , where he was used for the second team in the major league . With Leverkusen II he was promoted to the regional league in 2007/08 . In January 2009 it was awarded to the Swiss second division club FC Winterthur . He made his debut in the Challenge League on matchday 16 of the 2008/09 season against Servette FC Genève .

In the summer of 2010 he moved to the Bulgarian third division club Botew Plovdiv . In his two years with Botew he managed to march through to the A Grupa . In September 2012 he moved to the league and city rivals Lokomotive Plovdiv . In January 2013 he left Lokomotive. In the summer of 2013 he joined Slavia Sofia .

In February 2014 he moved to Kazakhstan for FK Astana . After a year he left Astana again. In July 2015 he returned to his homeland, where he joined his youth club Levski Sofia. In November of the same year he left Levski.

His father is the former soccer player Petar (* 1961).
