Atemwende is a book of poems by Paul Celan published in 1967 .

Content and structure

The volume, published by Suhrkamp in Frankfurt am Main , contains 80 poems that were written between 1963 and 1965. The poems of the first of a total of five cycles (IV) of the volume had already appeared in 1965 under the title breath crystal in a bibliophile edition by Brunidor (Paris).
