The ice hockey department of the French sports club Athletic Club de Boulogne-Billancourt from Boulogne-Billancourt was founded in 1952. She currently plays in fourth-rate division 3.
history
The ice hockey division of the Athletic Club de Boulogne-Billancourt was founded in 1952. The ACBB quickly developed into one of the most successful ice hockey teams in France. The team won the French championship in 1957, 1960 and 1962. In addition, she was runner-up in 1958, 1959, 1961, 1963, 1964, 1965 and 1966. The team was also successful internationally and won the renowned Spengler Cup in Switzerland three times in a row in 1959, 1960 and 1961 .
Following the 1970/71 season , the team had to withdraw from the top French league and could no longer build on the successes from the 1950s and 1960s. In the 2011/12 season, the ACBB men's team plays in fourth-class Division 3.
