There are different statements in the literature about the masters of 1935 and 1956. For example, the French champion 1935 can be found in Horst Eckert's "Ice Hockey Encyclopedia" Français Volants Paris, which according to the French Hockeyarchives.info, however, lost the Paris championship against Stade Français Paris and therefore could not take part in the championship tournament. The 1956 master was named after Horst Eckert Club de Patineurs de Paris . According to Hockeyarchives.info , however, Paris did not make it into the final after losing to Lyon and Chamonix.
