The Scorpions de Mulhouse (official name: Hockey Club de Mulhouse ) were a French ice hockey team from Mulhouse , which existed from 1997 to 2005 and whose greatest success was winning the French championship title in the 2004/05 season.
history
The Hockey Club de Mulhouse was founded in 1997 and started playing in the fourth-class Division 3 . In the following period, the team managed to march through to the second French division, Division 1 , in which the team achieved promotion to Ligue Magnus in the 2000/01 season . HC Mulhouse was able to draw attention to itself for the first time by reaching third place in the 2002/03 season. In the 2004/05 season, Mulhouse surprisingly succeeded in winning the French championship . In the playoff final, the Alsatians - reinforced by numerous foreign top players such as the lockout in the National Hockey League by the Canadians Steven Reinprecht and Steve Montador - against the Diables Noirs de Tours in the best-of-three series with 2: 0 wins by.
