Juho Jokinen (born July 25, 1986 in Kalajoki ) is a former Finnish ice hockey player who was most recently under contract with Kärpät Oulu in the SM-liiga . Due to numerous injuries, he ended his active career early. His brother Jussi is also a professional ice hockey player.

Career

Juho Jokinen began his career as a hockey player with TPS Turku , for which he made his debut in the SM-liiga in the 2005/06 season . In the same season he also made 21 appearances for TuTo Turku in the Mestis , the second highest Finnish division. After Jokinen made his breakthrough in his second season in Turku and was on the ice in 51 games, he moved to Kärpät Oulu during the 2007/08 season , from whose youth he came. At the end of the season, Jokinen became Finnish champions with the team . In the following season Jokinen was on the ice in all four group games of Kärpät in the Champions Hockey League .

International

For Finland Jokinen took part in the Junior World Championship in 2006 , where he won the bronze medal with his team.
