Miroslav Pažák (born March 24, 1976 in Košice , Czechoslovakia ) is a Slovak ice hockey player who has been under contract with Reims Champagne Hockey in the French Division 1 since November 2011 .

Career

Miroslav Pažák began his career as an ice hockey player at HC Košice , for whose professional team he made his debut in the extra league in the 1993/94 season . In the following six years, the center played parallel for Košice in the extra league and HK Dukla Michalovce in the second-class first division . He was 1996, 1996 and 1999 each Slovak champion with the HC Košice.

For the 2000/01 season Pažák moved to the Ducs de Dijon in Division 1 , the second French division. The left-handed shooter spent the following season at HC Mulhouse in Ligue Magnus and rose to the top French league with the Ducs de Dijon. After a total of five years, the Slovak left the club and played for their league rivals HC Amiens Somme from 2005 to 2007 . After the former youth international had spent the 2007/08 season with ASG Tours , he returned to Amiens, for which he was on the ice until 2011 in the Ligue Magnus.

In November 2011, the Slovak was signed by Reims Champagne Hockey from the French Division 1 .

International

For Slovakia Pažák took part in the U18 Junior C European Championship in 1994 and the U20 Junior B World Championship in 1995 .
