Greg Day (born February 25, 1977 in St. Clair Beach , Ontario ) is a Canadian ice hockey player who was last under contract with the EC Graz 99ers in the Austrian ice hockey league .

Career

Greg Day began his career as a hockey player on the Bowling Green State University team , for which he was active from 1998 to 2002. The attacker then made his professional ice hockey debut in the 2002/03 season when he was used for the Peoria Rivermen in the East Coast Hockey League and the Worcester IceCats of the American Hockey League . The following season he spent with the Las Vegas Wranglers from the ECHL, while he was used in parallel in eight missions by the Lowell Lock Monsters from the AHL.

For the 2004/05 season Day signed with HC Mulhouse from Ligue Magnus , with whom he became French champion . In the following game he joined Vålerenga Ishockey in the GET-ligaen and won the Norwegian championship with his team . Between 2006 and 2010, the Canadians played for EC Graz 99ers in the Austrian Hockey League , where he the 2007/08 season at the Milano Vipers in the Italian Serie A had finished. In summer 2010 he left Graz and was signed by HC Thurgau , who loaned him to KHL Medveščak Zagreb in December of the same year until the end of the season. For the 2011/12 season , the Canadian was signed by the KHL Medveščak Zagreb. After two years with the Croatians, Greg Day returned to the EC Graz 99ers, where he was already under contract from 2006 to 2010.
