history

The club was founded in 1998 as the successor to HC Milano Saima , the Italian champions from 1991, as SG Milano Cortina . First, the club took part in the game operations of the Ligue Magnus . In the five years from 2002 to 2006, the club was able to win the championship. In 2000 the name was changed to HCJ Milano Vipers following an agreement with Cortina. The home games were played in the PalAgora stadium. For games with large crowds, it was possible to switch to the Fila Forum Assago Arena, where Milan also played the European Cup games in 2002.

On June 12, 2008, the Vipers stopped their gaming operations with immediate effect.
