The Hockey Club Milano Saima was an ice hockey team from Milan , Italy . It was founded in 1985 and played from 1988 to 1995 in Serie A , the highest league in Italian ice hockey.

The Hockey Club Milano was founded in 1985 and initially took part in the second-rate Serie B game. Due to the sponsorship by the Saima company , the company name was added to the club name.

In 1988, the club won the championship of Series B, an increase in the Serie A on. During the 1990/91 season, Milano Saima was one of the best teams in the league and finished both the main and the final round in first place. This placement also meant winning the Italian championship .

After the 1991/92 season, the club was initially excluded from the game after the team had reached the final against HC Devils Milano . In 1993 the club was revived as Sportivi Ghiaccio Milano and completed two more seasons (1993/94 and 1994/95) in Serie A.

In 1995 the club was sold and continued operations as HC Milano 24 until 1997.
