The 1993/94 season was the third regular staging of the transnational ice hockey competition of the Alpine League . It was held with a total of fifteen professional teams from Austria and Italy . The defending champion was HC Alleghe , which however lost its championship to the Italian HC Bozen .
Participant field and mode
The field of participants remained almost unchanged compared to the previous year . However, with HK Jesenice , the only Slovenian participant from the previous year, and the relegated EK Zell am See two departures were reported. The fifteen teams played an easy round trip in the regular season. The four best-placed teams were qualified for the play-offs, which were played as a simple first leg.
