Ingemar Gruber (born March 25, 1977 in Merano , South Tyrol ) is an Italian ice hockey player who has been under contract with HC Merano again in the Italian Serie B since 2015 .

Career

Ingemar Gruber started his professional career at HC Bozen in 1993. He stayed there for two years and won the Alpine League with the team in 1994 and the Italian championship title in 1995, before returning to his youth club, HC Meran , in 1995 . For HC Meran he played nine seasons in the first Italian league, the then Serie A1, and won the national championship with the team in 1999. In summer 2004 he switched to Ritten Sport . For the 2005/06 season he returned to HC Meran, which was now taking part in the second-class A2 series . Ingemar Gruber has been under contract with Ritten Sport again since 2006 and won the Coppa Italia 2010, 2014 and 2015 as well as the Supercoppa Italiana in 2009 and 2010 with the team in addition to the championship title in 2014. In 2015 he returned to his home club in Merano, where he worked in the second Italian league, now called Serie B again.

International

For Italy , Ingemar Gruber took part in the U18 Junior A European Championships in 1993 and the U18 Junior B European Championships in 1994 and 1995 . He was also in Italy's squad at the U20 Junior B World Cup in 1995 . He also took part in the A World Championship in 2000 and, after the changeover to the current division system, in the World Championship of the Top Division in 2002 and the World Championship in Division I in 2011 .
