Paul Beraldo (born October 5, 1967 in Stoney Creek , Ontario ) is a former Italo - Canadian ice hockey player who played in the National Hockey League for the Boston Bruins , in the DEL for the EC Ratingen , the Adler Mannheim , the Starbulls Rosenheim and the Kassel Huskies played.

Career

The six-foot-tall center began his career with Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds in the Canadian Junior League Ontario Hockey League before being selected in the 1986 NHL Entry Draft as 139th in the seventh round by the Boston Bruins .

Most of the time, the right-shooter played for the Maine Mariners , a Boston farm team in the American Hockey League , for which he completed a total of 186 games in just under three years. When Beraldo moved to HC Milano Saima in 1990 , he had only played ten games for the NHL team. In Milan Beraldo was on the ice for HC Milano Saima and HC Devils Milano until the 1993/94 season , when he went to BSC Prussia in the ice hockey Bundesliga . After a year in Germany he first played for the Brantford Smoke in the US Colonial Hockey League before returning to HC Milan.

For the 1995/96 season Beraldo moved to the DEL for EC Ratingen, a year later he became German ice hockey champions with the Adler Mannheim , the Starbulls Rosenheim and the Kassel Huskies followed two more DEL positions in 1997/98 before joining HC Friborg-Gottéron moved to Switzerland . Beraldo ended his active career after the 2000/01 season with the Sheffield Steelers in the British Ice Hockey Superleague .

International

For the Italian national ice hockey team , Paul Beraldo completed six games at the 1994 World Cup , but before that he had also been used in the Canadian team .
