The Las Vegas Wranglers were an American ice hockey team from the ECHL that was based in Las Vegas .

The team was founded in 2003 and played in the Orleans Arena, which can seat 7,773 spectators. In the 2004/05 season, the average attendance was more than 5,100 people. In the 2007/08 season, the Wranglers reached the final of the Kelly Cup for the first time , in which they were defeated by the Cincinnati Cyclones in the best-of-seven series with 2-4.

It cooperated with the Calgary Flames from 2003 to 2009 and then with the Phoenix Coyotes for two years . The 2014/15 season suspended the ECHL team because they could not agree on a new usage contract with the Orleans Arena and the team was therefore without a home ground. Since the search for a new arena remained unsuccessful until January 2015, the game was finally stopped.

As a special feature there was a home game at midnight every season to allow the many employees in the casinos and other entertainment venues in Las Vegas to visit a game.
