Juraj Faith (born March 14, 1976 in Košice , Czechoslovakia ) is a Slovak ice hockey player who has been under contract with Miskolci Jegesmedvék JSE in the MOL league since 2013 .

Career

Juraj Faith began his career as a hockey player in his hometown with HC Košice , for which he was active from 1994 to 1998 in the Slovak Extra League , where he played for their league rivals HK Spišská Nová Ves and the second division club VTJ MEZ Michalovce . For Nová Ves, the attacker ran exclusively in the 1998/99 season before he moved to HC Mulhouse in the French Division 1 , with which he achieved promotion to Ligue Magnus in the 2000/01 season . In the summer of 2003, the Slovak was signed by the DEL- climber Wölfe Freiburg , which he left after their direct relegation. After the left-handed shooter was on the ice for HK ŠKP Poprad in the extra league from 2004 to 2006 , he returned to his hometown club HC Košice, with whom he became Slovak champion for the first time in the 2008/09 season .

In January 2010 he was dismissed from HC Košice for disciplinary reasons and a short time later he was signed by his ex-club, HK Poprad. In the summer of 2010 he got a contract with HC Litvinov in the Czech Republic , but it was dissolved after six test matches. At the beginning of September, shortly before the start of the season, he was signed by HKm Zvolen , but released again in mid-October. Between October and December of the same year he completed 15 games for the MHC Martin before he was released again. Until the end of the 2010/11 season he played for the second division HK Dukla Michalovce and the MsHK Žilina in the extra league . In the 2011/12 season, Faith stood at Manchester Phoenix in the English Premier Ice Hockey League contract before it in early summer 2012 for EHC Freiburg in the league changed.

Since July 2013 he is with the polar bears of Miskolci Jegesmedvék JSE in the MOL League active.
