Luc Tardif junior (born November 30, 1984 in Rouen ) is a French ice hockey player who has been under contract with the Brûleurs de Loups de Grenoble in the Ligue Magnus since 2012 . His father, Luc Tardif senior, was also a professional ice hockey player and is president of the Fédération française de hockey sur glace .

Career

Luc Tardirf junior began his career as a hockey player in his hometown in the youth division of the Dragons de Rouen , for whose professional team he made his debut in the Ligue Magnus , the top French division, in the 2001/02 season . In the same season he won the Coupe de France with his team . He then played for a year for the U20 team of the Finnish club HPK Hämeenlinna before returning to France, where he played for HC Mulhouse in the 2003/04 season. After he had started the following season there, he moved within Ligue Magnus to the Ours de Villard-de-Lans . After three years Tardif signed in 2007 with HC Morzine-Avoriaz , for which he was active for two more seasons in Ligue Magnus.

From 2009 to 2011 the Frenchman played again for his hometown club Dragons de Rouen. With this he won the French championship title in 2010 and 2011, the Coupe de la Ligue in 2010 and the Coupe de France in 2011. He spent the 2011/12 season with the Florida Everblades in the ECHL . After the season he returned to his French homeland and joined the top club Brûleurs de Loups de Grenoble there.

International

For France , Tardif took part in the junior division of the U18 Junior C World Championships in 2002 and the U20 Junior B World Championships in 2003 and 2004 . In the senior sector, he was in his country's squad at the B World Championships in 2006 and 2007 and at the A World Championships in 2008 , 2009 , 2010 and 2011 .
