Mudanjiang border wall

The Mudanjiang Border Wall ( Chinese  牡丹江 邊牆  /  牡丹江 边墙 , Pinyin Mǔdānjiāng biānqiáng , English Border Wall of Mudanjiang ) in the northeast Chinese province of Heilongjiang is also known as the Great Wall of the Tang Dynasty ( 唐 长城 , Táng Chángchéng , English Tang Great Wall ). It is located in the mountainous area of ​​the cities of Mudanjiang and Ning'an in the southeast of the province, its length is approx. 100 km.

The entire wall is always referred to as the "border wall" ( 边墙 , biānqiáng ), it is divided into three parts: the Mudanjiang border wall , Jingpohu border wall and Jiangdong border wall

The construction of all sections was started in the Chinese period of the Tang Dynasty in the Bohai Empire (Balhae) of the Chinese northeast, it was until the end of the Jin Dynasty (the Jurchen ) and in the Eastern Xia Empire ( Dongxia 東 夏  /  东 夏 ; English Eastern Xia empire ), they are the northeastern ruins of the Great Wall in China.

The Mudanjiang Border Wall ( Mudanjiang bianqiang ) has been on the list of monuments of the People's Republic of China (6-503) since 2006 .
