The Jokers de Cergy-Pontoise (official name: Hockey Club de Cergy-Pontoise ) are a French ice hockey team from Cergy-Pontoise , which was founded in 1981 and will play in Division 1 , the second highest French ice hockey league, in the 2018/19 season .

history

HC Cergy-Pontoise was founded in 1981. The men's ice hockey team played in the second-rate Division 1 for several years . In the 2011/12 season she was relegated to third-class Division 2 , but was able to celebrate promotion to Division 1 a few years later.

The club's flagship is the women's ice hockey team , which became French champions 17 times between 1990 and 2009 and clearly dominated national women's ice hockey. National coach Christine Duchamp emerged from the team .
