Stanislav Lašček (born January 17, 1986 in Martin , Czechoslovakia ) is a Slovak ice hockey player who has been under contract with the Gap Hockey Club in the Ligue Magnus since June 2011 .

Career

Stanislav Lašček began his career as a hockey player in the youth department of the HKm Zvolen , for whose professional team he made his debut in the extra league in the 2002/03 season . In his only season replacement, he remained without a scorer point and received two penalty minutes. The winger then played for three years for the Saguenéens de Chicoutimi in the Canadian junior league QMJHL . During this period he was selected in the NHL Entry Draft 2005 in the fifth round as a total of 133rd player by the Tampa Bay Lightning , for which he however never played. Instead, the left shooter ran from 2006 to 2008 for the Springfield Falcons and Norfolk Admirals in the American Hockey League , as well as the Johnstown Chiefs and Mississippi Sea Wolves in the ECHL .

For the 2008/09 season Lašček signed with MHC Martin from his Slovak hometown. In nine games he scored three goals for the club and prepared another three goals. In the following season, the former junior international stood for CIMT de Rivière-du-Loup in the Ligue Nord-Américaine de Hockey from the Canadian province of Québec on the ice. For the 2010/11 season he finally received a contract with the Hockey Club de Cergy-Pontoise in Division 1 , the second French division. There he worked as assistant captain and ended the season with 47 points in 25 matches as the team's best scorer. In June 2011, the Slovak received a contract with the Gap Hockey Club from the Ligue Magnus .

For Slovakia Lašček took part in the U20 World Junior Championships in 2005 and 2006 .
