Atlético Juventud is a former Colombian football club that was initially based in Soacha from 2007 to 2009 as Atlético Juventud Soacha and then in 2010 as Atlético Juventud Girardot in Girardot , Cundinamarca . The club played in the Primera B category for three years .
history
Atlético Juventud was the successor club of the second division Atlético Bello .
Atlético Juventud took part in the 2008 , 2009 and 2010 seasons. The club could only survive the league phase once, but never move into a final.
Due to a lack of support in Soacha, the club moved to Girardot for the 2010 season, where the club only stayed for a year and was penultimate. At the end of 2010, due to financial problems, the club sold its starting right to Fortaleza FC , who had played in the Colombian second division since the 2012 season and made it to the Categoría Primera A in 2013 .
Stadion
Atlético Juventud played their home games in Soacha at the Estadio Luis Carlos Galán Sarmiento, which had a capacity of around 8,000 seats. In Girardot, the home stadium was the Estadio Luis Antonio Duque Peña with a capacity of around 15,000 seats.
