Atlanta Bread is an American bakery chain founded in 1993 in Sandy Springs, a suburb of Atlanta , Georgia . The chain is expanding rapidly, growing from 33 stores in 1997 to the current level of 160 stores in 24 states. In addition to bread and pastries , coffee and soft drinks are also offered. Today the company headquarters are in Smyrna, Georgia , not far from Atlanta.
