Atoll media

Atoll-Medien (spelling: atoll medien ) is a publishing house founded in 1999 by the specialist journalist Jürgen Lossau . Mainly specialist books on subjects of cine film technology and DVDs appear here, on which commercials of old cine film devices are presented. Examples from the program are a manual for filming with Super 8 as well as the standard works "Filmkameras" and "Filmprojektoren", the catalog part of which contains all devices ever built in the 8 mm, 16 mm, 9.5 mm, Super 8 and Single-8 formats are.

A DVD of the Hamburg Film and Television Museum has been distributed since 2006 with the documentary Die Pamir ( Heinrich Klemme ), shot in 1959 and now no longer shown , which contains extensive bonus material.

The film 18 Bilder / Sek ( 18 frames ) by Christoph Böske and Tobias Greber, published on DVD in 2010, was nominated for the best foreign film at the Portobello Film Festival London and won the actor's prize for “special individual performance” at the Neisse Film Festival .
