Attilio Bagnolini
Attilio Bagnolini (born April 7, 1913 in Villadossola , † March 31, 1936 near Mai Ceu, Amhara , Ethiopia ) was an Italian soldier in the Alpini troop.
For his service in the Battle of Mai Ceu , in which he was killed, he was awarded the highest military order in Italy .
In 1939 the Italian Navy named a Liuzzi-class submarine after him, and in 1969 a Toti-class submarine . Several military and civil institutions also bear his name.
