The parish center Aua Viva ( Rhaeto-Romanic for "living water") in Disentis in the Cadi primarily refers to the parish building designed as a meeting place with church service room, group rooms and parish apartment, and also the evangelical - Reformed parish of the Cadi, which uses and maintains the building . history

In Cadi, which has been completely Catholic since the Counter-Reformation, numerous Reformed families moved in in the 1960s, particularly due to the construction of power stations in the Vorderrhein Valley . In 1986 the association decided to found its own parish, which was completed in the same year. In 1988 the parish received its own, initially temporary, parish office. After a year of construction, the Aua Viva meeting center was inaugurated in 1999. In addition to church events, this is also open to cultural and artistic events.

In June 2013 the Graubünden Synod took place in the Aua Viva community center.

Church organization

The Evangelical Reformed Regional Church of Graubünden has been leading the Cadi parish since 1986 - at that time as the youngest, 121st parish - within the I Ob dem Wald colloquium . An attempt at the beginning of the 21st century to found a pastoral community Obere Surselva was abandoned after a short time.
