Auchleek's House

Auchleeks House is a mansion near the Scottish village of Blair Atholl in the Council Area Perth and Kinross . In 1971 the structure was included in the Scottish monument lists in the highest monument category A.

The mansion was built around 1820. The planning architect is not passed down. However, there is a very similar building, Balnakeilly House , which was built during the same period. Charles Sim is responsible for its planning .

Auchleeks House is isolated in a sparsely populated region around twelve kilometers west of Blair Atholl near Loch Errochty . Central and corner projections emerge on the south-facing main facade of the two-story building . The five-axis-wide facade is designed with corner stones . The entrance portal on the central risalit is designed in a Doric style and closes with a segmental arched window . A triplet window is let in above it . The final triangular gable shows the Robertsons coat of arms.
