The Audi Type P is a small car that the Audi plants brought out in May 1931. Chassis and body corresponded to those of the DKW V800 / V1000 4 = 8 , the engine was derived from that of the Peugeot 201 .

The vehicle had a four-cylinder SV series engine with a displacement of 1.1 liters at the front. It developed 30 hp at 3200 rpm. It drove the rear wheels via a three-speed gearbox with a gearshift lever in the middle of the car. The car with its self-supporting, synthetic leather-covered plywood body had two rigid axles with transverse leaf springs underneath. It was only available as a two-door sedan with four windows.

In October of the same year, production was stopped after only 327 units.
