Audience Network (for short only Audience , until June 1, 2011 The 101 Network , from 1999 to 2005 Freeview ) is an American television station that is broadcast via satellite and IPTV.
history
The station was founded as part of the DirecTV company and was launched in 1999 on November 25th under the name Freeview . In 2005 the station was renamed The 101 Network . Another renaming took place in 2011, from which the station bears the name Audience Network . After the takeover of DirecTV by AT&T, this was included in their AT&T UVerse offer and has since been available via IPTV in addition to satellite reception . Since 2016, the title has generally only been shortened to Audience .
