Kingdom (developed under the title Navy St. ) is an American television series set in the mixed martial arts sector and premiered on October 8, 2014 on the Audience Network . After a successful first season, the broadcaster announced that 20 more episodes had been ordered. However, the broadcaster did not announce whether these were designed as one or more seasons, only that ten of them were planned for autumn 2015 and the others should follow in 2016. The broadcasting rights in Germany were secured by the pay TV broadcaster AXN , which plans to broadcast the entire first season on two evenings, on October 9th and 10th, 2015.

Kingdom is a rough family drama set in the mixed martial arts (MMA) world in Venice , California . Alvey Kulina owns Navy St. MMA, which he runs with the help of his girlfriend Lisa Prince. He is ready to use extraordinary means to ensure that his fighters are taken care of - whatever the cost. As a result, he has made the relationship with his two sons, Jay and Nate, both also fight, difficult in sport as well as in his own life. The situation is also complicated by their mother, Alvey's ex-wife Christina, whose mental health problems and drug addiction make matters worse.
