The Rai di Napoli auditorium

The Auditorium Rai di Napoli is a concert hall run by Radiotelevisione Italiana (Rai) in Naples , not far from the San Paolo stadium .

The concert hall, built from 1958 to 1963, was primarily used for broadcasting radio concerts. There were 1,000 seats on an area of 800 m², and a large organ was installed above the stage. A large number of well-known Italian opera singers performed here with the in-house radio orchestra. The Gran Premio Eurovisione della Canzone 1965 also took place here. In the 1990s the hall was used as a television studio. After a renovation of the auditorium in the 2000s - the number of seats was reduced to 600 and the organ was renovated - concerts and television broadcasts in the field of music are taking place again.
