Church of the Resurrection (Munich)
The Church of the Resurrection in Munich is one of the largest Protestant churches in Munich. It is located in the Schwanthalerhöhe district , which experienced numerous influx of Protestant citizens after the First World War. This made a new building with 800 seats necessary, which was carried out by German Bestelmeyer and inaugurated in 1931.

In the 1980s, the Greek Orthodox community in Munich also celebrated its services there. At the turn of the millennium, a Pentecostal community from Togo was a guest in the Church of the Resurrection .

Bells
Four bells hang in the tower : des 1 –f 1 –as 1 –b 1 . The second largest bell (f 1 ) from 1931 is the only remaining bell from the previous five-part bell ( des 1 –es 1 –f 1 –as 1 –b 1 ), which was cast by the Schilling bell foundry in Apolda. In 1953 Friedrich Wilhelm Schilling added the two smaller bells (as 1 and b 1 ). The big bell (of 1 ) comes from the workshop of Karl Czudnochowsky and was cast in 1959; the missing es 1 bell was never added. The bell hangs on deep cranked steel yokes in the steel bell cage and is overall in poor condition. Every Friday at 3 p.m. the big bell rings in memory of the hour of Christ's death. The full bell sounds to ring in the Sunday on Saturday at 3 p.m. and before the Sunday service.
